A wooden coffee table created by TDChristian alumnus Steven dePeuter (’20). The table is made of 1¾”-inch solid walnut with a black steel base.
Already at a young age Steven dePeuter demonstrated a strong desire and keen ability to work with his hands; he had an affinity for working with tools and an insatiable desire to build and construct. As a student at TDChristian, Steven used the co-op program to try new things, deepen his skills and expand his problem-solving abilities. He is a gifted craftsman by nature, and this live-edge coffee table tells the story of his vision and the quality of his craftsmanship. Since his graduation in 2020, Steven has been working toward becoming a firefighter, but all of his spare time is still devoted to doing, creating, fixing, and ultimately, to bringing renewed beauty to God’s world.
